Dr Ingrid Kelling, is the Director of GC4S. She is a policy-oriented scientist who holds a PhD in sustainable and ethical aquaculture trade from the University of Stirling, a Masters in Environmental Law and Policy from the University of Cambridge, and an undergraduate degree in International Relations and Management from the University of St Andrews.

Ingrid has previously worked in policy at the European Parliament and at the OECD; with industry at Unilever ICF; in an NGO at the International Pole & Line Foundation; and at research institutes including the WorldFish Center, the Thünen Institute and Groupe d’Economie Mondiale at Sciences-Po, Paris.

She holds several executive leadership positions including Co-Chair of the Board of the Global Sustainable Seafood Initiative (GSSI), Forum Convener for the Sustainable Aquaculture Forum of the Marine Alliance for Science and Technology Scotland (MASTS), and Member of the Supply Chain & Consumer Sector Panel of the Seafish Industry Authority.
